Configuring the Internet Control Panel

Open Internet control panel.

The Internet control panel looks like this: (if you don't see the whole window, click on the triangle beside Edit Sets to open it)

Click on the name of your current set and click on the Duplicate Set button (to the right). Give the duplicate set a name like "ncf". Then you can edit all the settings using the tabs:

Personal: [Refer to the image above]
Enter your name.
Enter your email address -- for example, ab123@ncf.ca.
E-mail: Your "User Account ID" is your NCF accountID (like "ab123")
The "Incoming Mail Server" is mail.ncf.ca
Enter your NCF password in the Password field.
The "Outgoing Mail Server" is mail.ncf.ca
Web: For your Home Page, use http://www.ncf.ca
News: The "News (NNTP) Server is news.ncf.ca
Select the option "Registered User".
The Name is your NCF accountID (like "ab123"), and enter your password.

Lastly, change the Active Set (at the top of the control panel) to make this new one, "ncf", the active one.

Close the Internet control panel, and set up the Remote Access control panel to continue the setup.
