About Discussing The Future Of FreeNets In Canada When other communities ask for help in setting up FreeNets, what resources do we have to respond? NCF, as a demonstration project, must develop its products and services with a wider audience in mind. We must define the process that disseminates our experience. Then we must obtain the resources to support that process. This is a space for moderated discussion of how we can best use our experience to: 1. Promote the spread of FreeNets across Canada. 2. Respond to requests from other communities for support in setting up FreeNets. 3. Guide the emergence of a national community of FreeNet communities so that it reflects the spirit of FreeNet as a grassroots revolution in telecomputing. Participation in this discussion contributes to drafting an action plan for the development of community networks across Canada.
