ABOUT THE CONFERENCE WORKING GROUPS Four working group sessions were held during the conference. They were intended to bring out discussion on the topic that had just been covered in the plenary sessions. It was a good idea, but it didn't work in practice. With five separate groups meeting for each session, the discussion ranged widely. The brief summaries presented here attempt to bring together comments on related topics without trying to keep the five groups or four sessions separate. If any of these topics catch your attention, get a discussion thread of your own going in the discussion group (Item 2 in the Conference Menu).
