The AGM discussion groups are online places for NCF members to post thoughts on issues relating to NCF's online Annual General Meeting, and is a place to engage in discussion with candidates for the Board of Directors. The forums provides NCF members with an opportunity to exchange views about the mission of the organization and to raise issues that ought to be considered when planning NCF's future.
There are two places for AGM discussion this year. One uses NCF's new technology for web-based discussion (most convenient for people using browsers), and the other uses the traditional NNTP newsgroup technology (most convenient for people using text-based FreePort).
To access in the web-based AGM discussion, just click here.
Access to the NNTP-based newsgroup requires a newsreader. The newsgroup is called ncf.agm2006 and is at news://news.ncf.carleton.ca/ncf.agm2006. (General information about NNTP newsgroups is available at Introduction to Newsgroups and Configuring your Computer for Newsgroups.)
