Edmond Marc du Rogoff - Candidate

Bio

Edmond is a graduate from the Université de Montréal, the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and holds a PhD from the Sorbonne. A former professor of Communication at the U of O, Edmond left academia to become a television writer and producer, and is currently working on film and video issues at de Department of Canadian Heritage of the Government of Canada.

What skills will you contribute to the NCF Board?

I am a consensus-builder with extensive experience in community organizations' boards.

What do you think are the most important functions of NCF for its members?

• Provide a community-based service.
• Facilitate Internet access to those individuals and groups who need it, regardless of capacity to pay or technical capability.
• To be an active, vocal member of the community

Why do you want to be an NCF director?

• Out of gratitude: NCF was my first email system and it helped me enormously.
• To give back to society.
