What skills will you contribute to the NCF Board?
Front end user, community access committed person, and experience in a multicultural diverse environment (university).
What do you think are the most important functions of NCF for its members?
To provide accurate and dependable service.
Why do you want to be an NCF director?
To help achieve the above functions and contribute to the success of NCF. (see statement)
As a longtime member of the Carleton University community I have watched NCF grow and change. I recall talking with Dave Sutherland about NCF and that was my first exposure to the concept of community accessible computing/communicating.
As a public safety educator I have been exposed to the various community needs and challenges of persons with special needs and I see NCF as providing a valuable service to all persons regardless of economic status or particular interest.
As a person I want to see NCF not only continue to provide a valuable service but to help in NCF stability and growth.
