NCF was first registered as a federal not-for-profit corporation on Sept. 29, 1992. At that time the objects of the Corporation were established as:
"To provide interactive, free-access computer based information services that will interconnect all members of the community, public agencies and other participating organizations; to encourage and promote discussion and study of public information systems; and to further the broad public information and educational value of an open and democratic society."
The following policies were developed by NCF’s elected Board of Directors: we are currently reviewing them to update them, make them bilingual and as easy as possible to understand:
